A's @ WhiteSox, any AN'ers want to go?
So I kept putting it off, but I've decided "hey, maybe I should bare the cold and head out to see the A's take on the WhiteSox!"
Thing is, the only game I can make it to that I don't have class on, for the TWO game series (wtf?) is tomarrow night, Monday at 7PM CST.
Thing is, I don't really want to go alone, especially to sit in the middle of a bunch of sox fans. In short, it'd be nice to have backup.
So are there any other A's fans in the Chicagoland Area who want to go to the game tomarrow? Perhaps a mini-short-notice-AN-Meetup?

I can't go....
I have a bone marrow transplant scheduled, but Go A's and represent our boys Zony!
2008 Oakland Athletics...more than meets the eye!
What kind of an excuse is that?
Yeah, I can't go because I was planning on washing my hair that night ...
No, but seriously, I hope it goes well. If the power of positive thoughts actually does any good, AN will be more effective than a placebo (you'll have to keep in mind that the placebo is one of the most effective 'drugs' in existence ...).

What I'm on right now is pretty effec... wait, what was the question? There wasn't a question? Then what I am doing here?
Best wishes Optimist Prime...
I'm here to talk about the past.
I really wanted to go
But I'm totally broke right now, so I'm hoping I can get to one of the July games.

ok I bought two tickets
off Stubhub (which I won't do again, they charged me $23 bucks for 'service', even the regular online store only charges you like $5...).
I got two tickets, section 134 behind the plate, row 25, general admission (so I assume just sit where-ever you want). Anyone want to grab the other ticket from me?
I wish
Doesn't look like I'll make it down this year to see the A's in Chicago, at least not this series. Weekday games would be tough, even though I'm "only" about 2 hours away from there.
Gas to Chicago- $23.87 A's/White Sox Tix- $28 Watching the A's whipping the Sox in July 05'- Priceless
I'll be there
(Tonight only, not tomorrow).
I don't have tickets yet, but I'm going to aim for some of the cheaper field level seats (section 112 or similar). I'll try to come over and find you during the game.
