Real live baseball!
I'm planning to go to the following:
Friday, 3/28: have not yet bought a ticket, wherever they have a nice single that isn't in the upper deck -- you can freeze to death up there on a March night in San Francisco
Tues, 4/1: left field bleachers
Wed, 4/2: left field bleachers
Friday, 4/4: probably bleachers, not yet certain
Sunday, 4/6: probably bleachers, not yet certain
The candy and the baseball all night long: )
Me! Me! I'm going!
Wheeeee!
Saturday's exhibition game, with my sister. Tuesday's REAL Home Opener, with Mr. Poppy. And Wednesday with... uh... anybody want to use what was originally supposed to be my sister's ticket, back in the days when it was a night game?

Hey Poppy I want to say hi to you and
thank you for the bobblehead...but I am not going opening night ...are you going to the game on April 5th by any chance? We are going to that game.
Opening Night
I will be there opening night along with my 10 year old son -- who is a Red Sox fan.
It must bring a tear to the eye
(although I guess its better than not being a baseball fan).
A couple of weeks ago, my son came into the room when someone on TV mentioned the A's against the Red Sox. He looked up and said "Dad, shouldn't they say the Red SUCKS". I was never prouder of my boy.

Yeah
I would prefer that he was an A's fan, but after years of attending A's games and never really being a baseball fan, the fact that he is now a passionate baseball fan makes me happy. Luckily for me, I am not one of the many Red Sox haters on this site; I'm not a Red Sox fan, but I admire many facets of their organization.

"...fragile flowers of Fenway" Wish I'd written that, ...
...especially since I can't go now.

I'll be at one of the games.
4/1 - Left Field Bleachers
I may try to make Wednesday, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
"You're just jealous. You wish you had a rally animal..." -CardinalWraith
I'm going too!
Saturday 3.29: Most probably though I haven't bought a ticket yet. If I go I'll be in the left field bleachers somewhere.
Sunday 3.30: I didn't buy the tix, so I'm not sure but I'm guessing bleachers over at AT&T.
Tuesday 4.1: If my friend gets me a ticket through his work, then I'll be sitting in some really good seats somewhere I'm sure, otherwise I'll be in the left field bleachers again if I can get a ticket...I should go check.
Tuesday night
LF bleachers, as usual. While it sucked that spring break for me wasn't this week... I'm now really happy that it now comes at a time where I can go to Opening Day, since I'll (most likely) be in SoCal this entire summer.

What do the promotions mean?
What does invalidate your bart ticket mean?
And on June 7th, what's Pyro Night #1 ?
I am coming to opening night! :]
I'll be at home... again....
in front of the television... annoying Poppy by texting her 37 times.

No, you'll be annoying whoever is sitting to my right, as I elbow them while I reach for the phone in my pocket 37 times...

I can see you've already been today
but for the benefit of others (because it takes a surprising number of clicks to find this on the A's website):
It is located outside the North side of the Stadium at D Gate and is open Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, and Saturdays, 10am-4pm.

Yeah I just got frustrated with the A's website
and took a "coffee break" and went to make my purchases.
I'll be at the opener
with my nephew (who is going to Iraq in Sept)
my niece, her husband, and their 3-year old son will join us.
Same group Sunday 4/6 (minus my nephew)
would love to me some AN'ers
I'm here to talk about the past.
HanRahanFran in da house
I will be at the homestand, day and night game. Crusin' craigslist for tix...ideally left field bleachers where the REAL fans sit. Hit me up. I will have the Hanrahan Jersey on :)
You don't know Jack!
BASEBALL IS HERE! BASEBALL IS HERE!!!!
Friday, March 28 @ Phone Park vs. SF, 7:15 PM -- third base side somewhere, I just got the tickets last night, so I can't remember
Saturday, March 29 @ the Oakland Coliseum vs. SF, 12:35 PM - I haven't bought the tickets yet, but it will probably be LF bleachers or 2nd deck somewhere. I hadn't realized it was a 12:35 start though - thanks for that!
Tuesday, April 1 @ the Oakland Coliseum vs. Boston, 7:05 PM - LF bleachers of course.
There's no crying in baseball!
Opening Night
2nd deck bleachers after the hourslong traditional family tailgate. Can't wait!!!!

I just went over to the ticket office
There are a few bleachers left for 4/1 (the girl there said a handful just became available) if anyone wants them...hurry over!
Hopefully hitting the Sat/Sun Cleveland
games. Depends on the magical work schedule changes, but I'm gonna try and go to those, the A's/Cleveland matchups are always a blast.
I'm in a self-imposed exile from Red Sox games for health reasons. I have a bad habit of trying to pick fights with entire frats of Red Sox fans.
"This must be heaven," he says.
"No. It's Oakland."
Oooooh
I'm going to pretend/hope you didn't mean actual frats and were coining a word meaning "group of red sox fans" a la "pride of lions." Now we just need an awesome word for "group of A's fans."
The A's colors are green and gold.
Or...
a "sample of A's fans," divided to include an "ample of ANers."

A "grip" of A's fans. Or, a "posy"? Or maybe just "hella". We gotta celibate our Oakland heritage while we still can.

I feel like there's some sort of world record
to be made with this idea...
"This must be heaven," he says.
"No. It's Oakland."
I think you have just thought of
a fantastic idea for this year's AN day!

Going to Tuesday and Wednesday's games.
Sitting in the "all-you-can-eat" 318 for the Tuesday game. Kind of a waste, but I have fond memories of the upper deck right behind home plate.
Wednesday, I have a ticket in 108, Row 19. I'll probably do a lot of wandering around the park that day, since I am seated nowhere near my party. They're in Row 4, I think, and I was very surprised that was the closest I could get to them (we miscommunicated about who was buying tickets, and didn't get them together). Had no problem getting a seat right next to them for Tuesday's game.
So it goes.
I'm looking forward to your 318 report
Very curious about questions like access points, come-and-go privileges, wristband or other eligibility proof mechanism, and stadium staff deployment. Also a full menu report--what exactly is and is not available.
I'm also curious what would happen if a patron kept getting food and throwing it away, over and over again, hundreds of times, but you probably won't do that. It would be wrong.

By logical extension...
what if I kept getting food and randomly gave it to fans in the non-all-you-can-eat sections?
So it goes.
Hmm... yes...
I wonder if you can take food out of the section, and perhaps share it with friends in another section? Or random strangers you want to be nice to.
All-You-Can-Eat Ticket Discount
Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the A's are offering all-you-can-eat tickets for $20 on April 5, 18 and 22 for fans to try it out. Just use coupon code EATS.

Opening Night baby!
And no having to agonize over a conflict with the NCAA Championship game, as is often the case. I'll be there, somewhere around 238 as I recall.

Saturday, March 29th...
Section 120, Row 9
There'll be four of us sitting in 2 seats, watching the A's kick the Giants' asses all over the baseball field.
Go A's!
yeah, but Galt isn't that big...
and, his sibling is yet to be born; so, it won't be too uncomfortable. Well, at least, not for me. LOL
Go A's!

i'm going to...
so far:
opening night, bleachers
game 2 vs. boston, bleachers (probably...i have class till 1:10 but i'm gonna try to get out early and make the trek down 880)
april 4 vs. cleveland, section 123

Exhibition broadcasts
The broadcast schedule on the A's site does not list any of the A's-Giants exhibition games (3/28, 29, 30) as being televised, but the Giants site says Saturday and Sunday games will be on FSN.
"There is an HR in Hanrahan." ~ mikeA
On the FSN Bay Area site
those games are listed on the Giants schedule but not the A's schedule. So I assume those will be Giants broadcasts with Kuiper and Krukow announcing and endless shots of kids playing with cotton candy and inflatable bats in the stands.
I need to work this weekend
I'll be in section 225 for most games for which I have tickets.
I'll be there Tuesday night (opening night) but had to exchange my Wednesday tickets. I'll be there for the Cleveland series Friday and Sunday.
Tonight is not televised??
I was looking forward to seeing/hearing the A's fans outnumbering, and out-cheering -- but probably not out-booing -- the Giaunties' fateful.
The meaning of life is not so much 'found,' as it is 'made.' --Opus
The Mercury News had a succinct headline
I guess "Giants play like ass" would have been shorter than this, but not much.
I decided to go tomorrow instead of tonight. Looks like rain.

Woo!
Change in plans, I'll be there tonight! Friends are great to have.. but friends that surprise you with free baseball tickets? THOSE are priceless.
I'll be the one on the first base side, setting fire to a wine list.
"This must be heaven," he says.
"No. It's Oakland."
Sunday
I'll be in the LF bleachers at 3-telecom-giants park.
And probably at the 21A before and/or after the game.

Today
I was at the A's-Gaints (according to the Moises Alou Bobblehead) game today and sat in RF. It was a lot of fun.
Opening Night: RF Bleacher
Secound game: plaza bleachers
Sunday: 4/6- Indians: RF Bleachers.
