A's New Jersey Designs
So I was perusing the MLB page on ESPN.com and came across this bit of information about the A's uniforms for the new season in the Uni Watch Page. The article can be found here at
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=lukas/080325&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab6pos2
The notes on the A's slight changes to the uniforms mentions that there is now a gold trim on the away-jersey. Personally I feel like the gold trim is going to clutter the hat and takes a bit away from the jersey as well. I love my Green and Gold jersey, but the white would be a nice mix too so long as it didn't include that extra gold trim.
I loved the green and white hats because the "A" is unadulterated by extra symbols or colors. It really stands out, but this new one doesn't feel right.

That's exactly what I thought.
I figured this was a secret conspiracy theory, the Cisco Ballpark had fallen through, and the Newark A's would be appearing soon at a turnpike exit near ... well, me.

We are not in the Eighth Dimension.
We are over New Jersey.

I really like the new
unis. As a matter of fact, I've already bought their new cap.

Did I miss what you are talking about?
All I saw was the black alternate stuff. And hands down I'll be watching every Friday home game of the Blue Jays. Simply terrific uniforms.

The powder blues were among the worst abominations of '70s uniforms.

Not a big fan of the power blues either
Didn't mind it so much for teams that have blue as the dominant color, but for teams like the Phillies and the Cardinals -- ick.

The A's need to release
a uniform schedule so I can be sure to avoid certain games...
I love the powder blues and those Phillies unis.

Yeah,
I liked the white on dark green (like the hat) but the gold trim is a bit too much.
I always liked the Black Unis though, just gave them a feel of being that rowdy clubhouse where they went against conventional wisdom and dropped some flavor in the pot.
It's just more exciting with Billy Beane running the team.
I own the new jersey
and the old black alternate. The new one is a huge upgrade, because you can actually see the damn letters.
What am I missing?
Could someone please point me in the direction of these new jerseys that are being talked about. I just can't find them.
