PrintDana Eveland, who is starting for the A's tomorrow vs his old organization, the Diamondbacks, shot off his mouth today complaining that the D'backs didn't give him a fair shot....
...geez, what's happening,all these new guys we've brought in are cry babies......right?

He has said the Diamondbacks didn't give him a fair chance last year.
They didn't give him a fair shot last year and there's nothing wrong with saying something like, 'I'm excited about joining the A's because I didn't feel like I got a fair shot last year."

I think this one might have been taken out of context.
He could have said something like, "I'm glad Oakland is giving me a better shot at the rotation than Arizona did," or something similar.

i was a hoosier
for a semester...i played on the team in the fall and decided to transfer because i wasn't on scholarship and it costs a ton of money.
that said, you will love it.

Even if the D-Backs cream Oakland, who cares?
As long as Eveland isn't pitching on tilt, this is a non-issue.
