Fantasy baseball, anyone?

i'm definitely down for this.

as long as this isnt one of those "make people feel like crap when they make a move because we are awesome, semi-pro fantasy leaguers"  leagues. I mean I think I played in a league last year and I was really turned off by some peoples comments, talk about fantasy nazi's. If this is for fun and everyone just wants to have fun....Im in.  

This is actually my first AN post in months and months. A for-fun fantasy league brought me from the lurking shadows. Hope i don't forget the draft day.

But I would love to get in on some fantasy baseball. I'm sure there are enough people to get another league going. I would set one up myself except that I've never done any of this stuff before.

I don't have a lot of experience with fantasy baseball, I've played the past two seasons but it's been with my friend and my dad and we had multiple teams (like the team of all guys named Jose, and one of only Mike/Michael/Miguels [they both sucked pretty bad btw])... so it would almost be like my first time haha.

Why Total Bases, On Base Percentage, and Quality Starts?  Total Bases because I feel they are a better measure of contribution while still being very representaive of power.  With OBP, players that will take the freepass, in my opinion, will no longer be as marginalized like they are in standard scoring leagues.  Quality starts: well, because I like them, that's why.  Plus, it will provide incentives to actually focus on at least a few starters rather then going with a heavy middle relief coprs and hoping for some vulture wins.
