the player I am missing the most

With all the big names that departed this season, there has been little mention lately about Marco Scutaro Sure this is old news, but I am sure hoping that the A’s can find someone to play with the same enthusiasm that he brought to every game.

I don’t mean to bash Crosby – but Marco played with half the talent & twice the heart and over the last few years and contributed a whole lot more to this team than the “starting shortstop”. His solid and dependable play was a big part of the success the team had in 2006, but solid and dependable don’t really describe Marco who exemplified spirit of the team I have loved the last few years.

Will Hannahan or Murphy step up to be the next super-sub. Or will Crosby finally rise up now that he is out from the shadow of Scutaro?

Sorry for the old topic- just feeling a bit nostalgic.

I am sad I won't be able to use this in posts anymore. Not that I always remembered to use it this past year... but still. I hope he finds a place to play on the Blue Jays (that's where he is now, right?).

But having said that, I look forward to seeing what the other guys can do. I hope they step up and remind me why I love this team so much :)
