I got a Sweeney player t-shirt!
(pic)
I continue to be very excited that MLB.com is finally using properly-colored lettering for the backs of the custom shirts.
I think Kimberly was thinking about getting one too… I wonder if she did?

Oh, I got it too!
I convinced my friend to get me the Sweeney shirt as a super early Christmas present, so I got it a couple of weeks ago :)

very cute!
my parents ordered me a Sweeney shirt and MLB said they were mailing it late so I don’t actually have it in my hands just yet but soon :) as long as I get it my March, I’ll be cool haha.

Sorry, Nico.
For some reason, Amazon.com said the shipping charges would be too high for me to afford.

I actually didn't get any A's gear
But I’m alright with that because I got a new laptop, The Wire complete series on DVD, and some Blackhawks gear.

Thanks Zig!
We’re very spoiled, and they’re a big part of why we’re not here as much as we used to be. They will be raised right, as A’s fans!

I got the Half-Price Holliday Pack. Woot.
And it came with a nice little holiday card from the A’s—with a picture of a bunch of jerseys on the front, Holliday’s #5 front and center. Hopefully he’s not traded anytime soon.
My sister made me an A’s fleece blanket—nice and big, perfect for those cool Coliseum nights. So basically I’m ready for the season now. Is it April yet?

No A's gear for me this year
But I did get my sister and her fiance some baseball-related items, one of which is A’s….but I can’t say what I got, because despite my ordering said items just days after Thanksgiving, they have STILL not arrived. But mlb.com did send me two complimentary items to give to them. But still, no original order….

Ornaments!
I got 6 A’s candy cane ornaments, one round ball ornament, and one tear drop ornament.
Sorry too lazy to post pics.

ah, I saw those A's Candy Canes at Marshals....
but then again, Ornaments are the worst present ever. There’s nothing like getting a gift that ceases to be useful the second you open it.

I didn't get any A's gifts....
But since I’m expecting my first kid come baseball season, my brother gave my mom green and gold yarn so she could knit a blanket for my future A’s fan.

No A's stuff sadly.
But I did get a shiny new Norelco razor if that counts for anything…

wear it!
My youngest, a 5 year old girl wears her A’s socks all the time, here in SF, with all outfits. I never correct her even though we are going to the Nutcracker. I love it.
But a kind word to the post, please use the white balance with your camera or software. I have a hard time looking at purple kids.
Merry X-mas and to all a good night!

No A’s gear for me…but I did get some sweaters, a purse and a Victoria’s Secret gift card.

my son got a "baseball abcs" board book
Jason Kendall, johnny Damon, Jason giambi, tim Hudson, and mark McGwire were all I’m the book. It must have been published around 2000, judging by the uniforms. Seeing giambi In green and gold brought back an excitement I had forgotten about. He really was awesome for the a’s. I also got “Baseball as America”which has some great pictures and essays.
Also, I’mmaking typos as I use the new iPod I got for my wife. This thing is pretty neat!

I love that book.
I purchased it for my best friend’s son back in the day. It was one of his favorites.
But he came back. And there was much rejoicing.

guitar hero and $120 in chipotle gift cards
it was a good year. also, at 7 am in the morning my dog escaped through my fence into my neighbors yard. i then had to attempt to catch him (rather pathetically) for like 20 minutes. terrible terrible start to the day.
"My group runs some frogloks down the hall to finish them off and POP! RASTER! If there was a way to scream louder than caps in EQ I was doing it. Man I am straight panicking because I know I have NO CHANCE soloing and the party has run off. I'm in my hotel room; it's like 5am, and I am straight hollering, in EQ and in real life. Can’t wait to see some A’s baseball! Can’t wait to see some of AN in Phoenix!
Those babies are too cute!
I spent yesterday with just-turned-three twin boys…much fun. They grow up so fast -
they got a tball set for their spring training.
Much fun coming your way, too…LouisMg and Mrs.
