Rangers vs A's community rankings
Well I joined yesterday to put up a short post about this because I wanted some A's fans opinions on it, I forgot that it takes 24 hours to join up though. I'll delete this post after a little bit I just wanted some A's fans input. Anyways I put up a post on lonestarball.com comparing the top 10's of these two systems based on the community rankings (I had to project numbers 9 and 10 for the A's based on who was 2nd and 3rd at the time on the #8 ballot). Check it out and let us Ranger fans know what you agree/disagree with.

Scouting reports that I have seen on Simmons weren't favorable and I really didn't know what to make of Mazzaro's struggles throughout the minors except for a very good showing at AA this past season. I'd say those two guys were the ones that I had the hardest time comparing because I don't know much about their stuff and their numbers were underwhelming at times.

Don't worry about deleting it -
It’s not like we’re overwhelmed with news right now that we “just have to talk about!” Other than, “So you think we’ll sign Furcal?”, “Cust Strikes Out Too Much – Let’s Get Eckstein,” and “Sweeney’s Ass – Is It Magical?”
I like Cindi. A. She never pretends to know more than she does. B. She has unbridled enthusiasm for her "Hotties," and isn't afraid to show it. -IM4Oakgal

oh, sorry, I meant the first. maybe.
I can’t help much with the actual post though. I don’t really know the minor league system.

I thought this was a pretty funny, though perhaps rather apt, comment from the
discussion that followed your post:
"It’s very close
Most of those are coin flips, and the A’s order is weird. They’re very, very numbers oriented.

That's why I'm converting over to "Zodiac sign"
It’s more gritty.

No, DO sell yourself short
“Buy high, sell short,” isn’t it? I hope so, because I’m always high when I play the market.

I didn't even know LSB was doing a Com. Prospect List
I got my idea from MinorLeagueBall’s annual Top 100.
It’d be interesting if the M’s and Angels (don’t know if the Angels are doing one, never visit HH) and to compare across the board.

Until the Rangers actually have a successful pitching prospect
I’m inclined to think they will all flame out. Or be successful with another team.
