Haha. O you silly Yankee Fans
Here is a post form espn.com by a yankee fan about what the Yankee team should look like next seasonl
Pay careful attention to the positions.
This is the rotation I propose us have coming into opening day 2009:
1. Jake Peavy
2. CC Sabathia
3. Joba Chamberlain
4. A.J. Burnett
5. Phil Hughes
Lineup like this for the 2009 season:
1. Rafael Furcal, SS
2. Derek Jeter, CF
3. Bobby Abreu, RF
4. Manny Ramirez, DH
5. Robinson Cano, 3B
6. Alex Ramirez, 2B
7. Xavier Nady, LF
8. Juan Miranda, 1B
9. Francisco Cervelli/Jose Molina, C

maybe that's who he meant
by alex ramirez? i mean, you can’t be expected to be able to remember positions and names, right?
and where’s swisher??
i love that phil hughes is fifth in the rotation. presumably he was thinking, well, we won’t get all the great pitching, best be realistic…
BB should send scouts to watch cricket players.

why is Jeter playing CF?
Cano at 3B? Alexis Ramirez coming from the White Sox to play 2B? ARod gone? Who the fuck is Juan Miranda? Jorge Posada dissapears…

this isnt as bad as what an a's fan proposed on the oaklandathletics.com message boards
to summarize, emil brown at first and joey devine/brad ziegler/jerry blevins in our rotation. and cust in left. and cunningham at dh. i could go on all day at the problems with the proposal. but its pretty damn funny
haha
my favorite is the jeter in CF.
im assuming this guy wanted a trade or a-rod for peavey
which since the padres are looking for a pay cut, wouldnt happen.
yankee fans have no concept of money
*sigh
Rule #1
Never put together a team listing after drinking to many beers.
It worked for Billy Martin

Is Alex "Ramirez".......
……….a prospect for the Dodgers that the Yanks will get in a trade for A-Rod? I hope that Cano is aware that he’ll be playing third base. I’m surprised that Reggie Jackson and Ron Guidry aren’t on this list.
i'm surprised
barry bonds isn’t.
and might as well throw in babe ruth, too, whilst we’re at it.
and barack obama at 4th outfielder?
BB should send scouts to watch cricket players.

Mediocre Yankees 1B prospect

you don't see him as
someone capable of reaching out to both left and right from center field?

Obama is actually a more versatile reliever
A guy you go to whenever you need a change.
I like Cindi. A. She never pretends to know more than she does. B. She has unbridled enthusiasm for her "Hotties," and isn't afraid to show it. -IM4Oakgal
that is god-awful
almost as bad as all the espn.com posts after the a’s traded for holliday
"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball
I like this plan: they should trade A-Rod to the A's.
