This column is essentially the addition of a 2008 chapter to Michael Lewis' terrific book, Liar's Poker. Lewis wades into the subprime mortgage mess and, hey, at the end he has lunch with Gutfreund. If you enjoyed the book, I think you'll find this column intriguing.
