AN confessional

I started thinking about the Rays in the world series before they’d won the ALCS.

Forgive me for I have sinned.

Anybody else? C’mon, fess up!

Should have been:

Howell or Miller to pitch to Ortiz, then Bradford. I really don’t get how Maddon played the 7th and 8th.

Yeah, why he didn't use his lefty relievers is totally beyond me.

It'll be okay.

This comeback will just make it hurt worse for the Sox when they end up losing. Yep.

And here we go with the comeback.

But he came back. And there was much rejoicing.

Gutsy move by Maddon would have been:

Hand the ball to James Shields to start the 8th.

and I agree with Joe Morgan. Madden should have brought in Howell to face Ortiz in the seventh inning. As Morgan said “you manage to the worst case scenario.” Maddon didn’t.

We may have been celebrating too early…did Maddon?

I think they did.... once...

I remember I was really ticked off because during ESPN’s “highlights of the year”, they had a bunch of bloopers that the A’s did, and then for something good, they had a three second clip of the A’s dugout when Ellis hit his walk-off slammer, and I only knew that because I watched it too many times. I was pissed.
