DLD 1-15-08: There's something in the air

Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No, it's an incredibly thin laptop and movies you can watch on a little tiny screen and a magic hard drive.  I want it all.   I can has Macworld?

There's something else in the air and it's a congressional investigation of Miguel Tejada.

When Congress finishes that one up, they can turn their attentions to the corrupt and venal world of romance novels; the New York Times reports that a popular author is accused of plagiarism for including passages in a bodice-ripper that previously appeared in someone else's novel and -- wait for it --

an article about black-footed ferrets from Defenders of Wildlife magazine.

Some of the steamy text that was allegedly misappropriated includes

"Researchers theorize that polecats crossed the land bridge that once linked Siberia and Alaska, to establish the New World population.”

 Be still, my beating heart!

Commence dumping now.
