suggestion for postgame threads

for awhile i've really wanted to see it, and i guess i'll throw it out there now as a suggestion for the front page bloggers.

for me personally, and i'm guessing a lot of people on here, AN is the first place i check when i want to see the score and read about how the game went. i'm a major NRAF way up in edmonton, alberta and i hardly get to see games on TV, don't get any on the radio, and have to watch nightly highlight packages for awhile to see the brief a's highlights. so basically everything i get about the a's is from AN and reading the online feeds of the bay area papers.

anyways, back to how i started. AN is the first place i check at night or the next morning about the game. however, most of the post game threads are kind of geared towards people who were watching the game or following online, assuming the audience knows the result. its obvious whether it was a win or a loss, but the score isn't, and i'm forced to go find the score on yahoo or something like that, or wait until i get my email update quite awhile later.

so i'm wondering if the front page bloggers would mind adding a linescore to the top or the bottom. i tried to find an example on another SB nation site but i cant. something like this:

*font face="courier new"*Final           1   2   3     4   5   6     7   8   9     R   H   E
Oakland         0   2   0     0   0   0     2   0   0     4   11  2
Tampa Bay       0   1   0     0   3   1     0   2   X     7   7   0*/font*

Box Score | Game Recap

(replace the *'s with < and > to complete the HTML tags. i guess font changes aren't allowed in diaries. but that would be necessary to make it look proper.

it doesn't even have to be as complicated as that, even just the runs/hits/errors or something like that would be awesome.

it'd just be nice to hit up AN and not have to seek out the crapiness of ESPN or even yahoo to weed through red sox this and yankees that to find the a's scores.

if not then, whatever, but i, along with what i assume to be others would really appreciate it.
