Haren throws about 301 pitches to get through the sixth inning, but can't escape without four runs scoring, although he had some (non)help from the defense for a couple of them.

The A's offense; however, is battling, and doing their best impression of being a contender. They have battled all afternoon, and the score reflects it: It's 4-4 going to the bottom of the sixth.

Take the 101 to the Richmond Bridge (580). That turns into the 880, and the Coliseum is exit 66. Or Haggenburger.

Seems one reliever on the club has to suck at any given time.  Any attempt to remediate this by DFA or trades just passes it to another.
