Did you hear the big news, the A's are thinking of trading DJ to the Yankees.
The most recent rumblings are coming from New York, where a possible trade of Johnson to the Yankees for right-handed reliever Scott Proctor is all the buzz. An A's source said that the team hasn't communicated with the Yankees in more than a week.
The A's also played a game with the Rangers, and the vaunted Rangers pitching staff, not a pretty sight.
The A's made history Monday night at the Coliseum. It wasn't the type of thing for which you wanted to be remembered.

Oh yea, the A's also made a trade, you might have heard, Jason Kendall is now a Cub, and for those thinking how mad Jason must be, let's remember he had a full no trade, so he could have vetoed the trade if he wanted to.
Kendall had a full no-trade clause and thus had to OK the deal.
