As a Poly student who watched Grant Desme rule this year, I'm absolutely pumped the A's picked him up. He's a stud. Here's a link to a story about his awesome season. It includes stats!

I live in the area also, and It is pretty exciting because they just had a big feature on him in the local newspaper The Tribune... about his triple crown and such. It is always exciting to follow hometown kids. I am excited to see how he develops!

well we almost had the basketball team go to the NCAA's, we made it to the Big West finals my last year there (2004, but didnt get in. Also the Football team was doing pretty good the last couple of years, was in the DIV II playoffs, but didnt go to far. The Raiders got a rookie mustang on the team, Cal Poly is getting up there.
