I don't really have a clue why I find these things, but Anaheim comes up again. Or, rather, a chill Northern wind blows up the arse of an Anaheimer.

that I've told that I want the Senators to win the Cup has replied, "You want a Canadian team to win?"

I don't get it. Why can't I root for a team not in my country? Why can't I root against a team that I hate? The only way I've gotten them to shut up is to ask them "Well, would you rather have the (team that they hate) win the (relative championship) or the (Blue Jays/Raptors)?"

I know that that wasn't directly related to your post, but whatever.

Ottawa

I live in Ottawa but I am a Bruins fan. I enjoy hockey but didn't have a real rooting interest for this series. If anything I guess I was going for the Ducks because I am conditioned to root against the Senators (same division as Boston). A get a lot of frowns for not hoping for the "Canadian" team but I just ask them if they are sure that there are more Canadians on the Senators than the Ducks.
