Heading to the bottom of the sixth inning, this game is already a half an hour longer than last night's entire contest. Gaudin was knocked out early after giving up a rare two runs, but Flores got two outs, and Santiago Casilla (or Jairo Garcia), finished the inning, leaving the A's clinging to a 4-2 lead.

They need to get nine outs more, and could use a few more runs.

He was Jairo Garcia but then he revealed his real name and he was actually a couple years older than Jairo.
He's pitched very little the last couple of years.

Casilla looked damn good

Not sure what would have happened if the Twins had been taking, but if he can get good hitters to chase his slider consistently he'll be successful--he looks a lot better than he did in his earlier stints.

He throws too many pitches right now but I think

he will get that figured out with more time in the minors. He is currently struggling to pitch more than 5 innings so I bet it would be less in the bigs.
