Some DLDs are prettier than most. Some DLDs are extremely well-written. And then there are those DLDs - this, a case in point - whose sole redeemable virtue is their very existence; they're better than no DLD at all. And I'm down with that.
The Reds Go Down
(Noob Dumpster Tip #1: While posting links to old DLDs is not uncommon, posting a link to a game wrap is de rigeur. Try to find something remarkable in the wrap; it's a good way to use a block-quote, an aesthetic plus).
This was the case at McAfee Coliseum on Monday night as Blanton mowed down the Reds
I'd like to take a moment to express my distaste for a certain kind of fan who feels the need to blame somebody every time their team loses a game. It just strikes me as infantile. Must it always be somebody's fault? What if everybody involved on both sides did their jobs perfectly? Then who is to blame? The Almighty? Does it really soothe the pang of a loss to get down on one of your own?
Down on the Farm
They still do cow-milking competitions. I did not know that. But I notice the Cats are winless all time (0-8) with Milton in the line-up. On the other hand, Milton is in the line-up. Ooh, look, a block-quote:
...but Braden buckled-down to catch Ken Huckaby swinging and work out of the inning.
Down, boy!
(Noob Dumpster Tip #2: Try to post a picture in your DLD, they're another huge aesthetic plus. This picture, of Bobby getting down with his bad self, is just too delicious not to re-visit).

Down with the Angels!
As an outspoken, long-time inveterate h8ter of the Red Sox, I have to say that the Angels have officially passed them on the h8t list. They just won't stop winning. Consequently, we remain 6 games down in the standings.
