Best Wedding Gift Ever
So I was married 3 weeks ago, and Saturday my wife and I sent out the last of our 300+ Thank You cards before the postage rate went up (we had already purchased the stamps). My favorite Thank You card went to my older sister who gave us our gift this last Friday.
The gift? $300 in A's gift cards to buy tickets. Last year I had a 22 game package but due to the financial constraints of being newly married and moving out of Mom and Dad's I only bought tickets to Opening Day and then the 5-game "Sweetheart Package" that came out around Valentine's Day. So my question, AN, is how should I use the gift cards? Quality, quantity, or a healthy mix.
Looking at my pocket schedule, I like:
Minnesota, June 2 (Fireworks-our first date was A's Twins last June 2)
St Louis 6/15 or 6/16
Toronto July 3 (Fireworks)
Baltimore, July 21 Bobblehead
Detroit, August 31
Texas, Sep 14 (my b-day)
Anyone know of any ticket packages smaller than the 22-game?
Any recommendations on games to go to? I'm not going to see Boston, they make me throw up in my mouth. And I already have tickets to Giants, Texas, and Seattle in the summer.

Wedding gift
My suggestion is to also call the A's ticket office and ask about any two for one weekday offerings they may have. For example, some sponsors may offer one and also if you ever go when they're giving the casino scratch-off cards, you can get 2 for 1 deals. I think either pepsi or mountain dew offer $4 plaza level seats during the week. Maybe others on this site can provide that info. They used to give discounts for AAA membership.
I'm just suggesting the above as a way of stretching your A's dollars.

That's what I'm looking for
Thanks. I'd rather make it to more games then spend them on a few here and there. I remembered the AAA deals, I'll have to see if they still do that.

Quantity
More games are always better. I don't know how you roll, but I end up eating in the West Side Club sometimes then watching the game there. That would be a waste with expensive tix, but not w/ cheap seats. Also you can usually squeeze in on 2nd deck. I know bleachers don't offer the best vantage point, but there's nothing like the energy out there. My opinion is always go with quantity, especially when you have A's brand quality on the field.

Or...
... you could blow the lot on behind-the-dugout seats and live large for a few games.
"So DJ, what do you think of the Middle East situation right now?"
"Well, it's an interesting dichotomy... Oh, hang five. I have to go hit."
