NRAFs in the Outfield: Who's going to Angel Stadium?

I just wanted to see if anyone else is going to see the A's in Anaheim for the upcoming series.  I and Mrs. LAXile will be there on Saturday to see Haren vs. Lackey.  We'll be sitting in section T202, row D, and we'll probably also drop by the National Sports Bar (just down the street) beforehand for a few pre-game refreshments.  I thought I'd open a diary to see who's going and to make it easier for folks to meet up if they want to.  Oh yeah, I almost forgot: Die, Angels, Die.  Let's go, A's!

I'm going

Tonight, Saturday and Sunday. Probably in the RF bleachers each night. I'm assuming there's also a bar in the stadium somewhere...you can probably find me there.

I'll try not to swear.

I wish I could go this series

But I'll probably be there for every other A's series in Anaheim!

I have tickets for Friday and Sunday

Friday with my 8 year old, my Angel fan bro-in-law, and his Angel fan kid down in the left field corner 101, row BB.

Sunday, the same group plus my 2 year old in the left field family section 260.

Hee!!!

How do you know I'm not talking about Milton Bradley? ;-)

Or Travis Buck, as I've been accused of lately?

Friday...

...look for the handsome Black guy with the garish gold 1973 Blue Moon Odom jersey (#13 in your programs, #1 in your hearts).  We'll be at the National beforehand and in section 128, Row E at gametime.

Be loud, be proud.

Did you know the real Blue Moon Odom

Regularly attends and sits pretty close to where you are?

He sits near the back of one of the Terrace sections near first base - same spot every time.  I had tickets near there a couple years ago and a guy pointed him out to me.

He signed a ball for my son at a game last year.  Nice guy.  We only had a sharpie and he started asking other folks around him for a ball point pen so that his autograph would not smudge.  A very legible autogrph too I might add.  About the clearest i have ever seen.

In for Friday and Sunday

I'll be in the 5th Row behind the A's dugout tomorrow night.  Not sure where the seats are for Sunday.

BBG - come say hi!

I still can't believe I yelled "WE'RE ALL GONNA

DIE!!!" at the top of my voice in a crowd (at the Thursday AN-Anaheim Day last year).  Beer does wonderful things for one's self-confidence!  Yeah, beer!

The difference between A's and Cubs fans:

a 9-year old A's fan at the visiting park is smarter than a 26-year old Cubs fanat home.  From my seats the best I'll be able to do is trip a few OC goons in Salmon jerseys, causing them to spill their beer on Rex Hudler.

Look for the A's flag!

AN needs a full bbg date diary

with pictures and a poll: "Should bbg go out with Mr. X again: Yes/No."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I feel like I'm reporting back to Mom! :-)

The date was great...it's SO different being out with someone who cares about the game as much as I do. Weird, new, awesome feeling!

And plus, could that game have BEEN any better?! Goodness. Loved it. Yeah, so it was pretty much perfect.
