Ellis hit a GS against the M's
in Lilly's last start in the 2004 regular season. A's won like 11-0. Anyone remember if he had any other RBIs that game?
nope
but i remember that game, ellis jacked it to left field, the A's crushed em

Thank you Stomper!!
Sorry!
Couldn't get the thread open...corrupted data. :-)
It's all good now.
(I didn't really want to disturb Harden)
Does anyone know the pitching matchups for the
Angels-A's series?
by BruceBochte on Apr 4, 2007 9:08 PM PDT reply actions
They involve Kennedy and Gaudin
Kennedy vs. Vlad.
Ugh.
Gaudin-Saunders, Kennedy-Moses, Hare-Lak, Bla-Esc
got a little abv there.
Moses gets to pitch during Passover?
Dear BBG,
Thanks for the pretty photo link.
Signed,
Everyone

I thought Milton had that...
But the train whistle wasn't blowin'
he got a little overzealous
and raised the settings on the machine.
Piazza still struggling
Maybe this series will fool AL pitchers
into thinking the best way to get Piazza out is to toss fastballs down the middle to him.
we're discovering
cardboard costs more than crust.
Right now?
Well, for some reason, the ball never seems to smash out any of the bricks.
They got rid of the beeps....
...which constitutes a major improvement.
As always, mlb is counting on setting the bar low so that they can letter clear it.

And now it sounds like
they gave David Lynch a handful of Vicodin and asked him to come up with a musical score.
Bradley and Piazza batting; must be top of 8th.
gamechannel box quit after top of 7th it appears.
that was breezy.
nice inning for jay marshall

LL Cool Jay Marshall!
C-I-A-B-A-double T-A
Peace out!
ESPN BBTN is saying the Angels will run away with
the West
Those idiots are like dogs chasing cars
on a busy street. They just run after the last car to zoom past them.
[Gammons is not an idiot. But I think he's the only one]
Gamechannel now showing a 15-0 game in 5th.
so does anyone not swing at the first pitch ?
work the count maybe
Yahoo Gamechannel...
2 seconds ago, it was Oak 18, Sea 0. And Ellis had 10 RBI. Now it's 0-0, but we still have 23 hits, and Ellis still has 10 RBI. I was about to say I'd like to see a 0-0 game in which one team has 23 hits, but then that would probably happen, so pretend I didn't say anything.
If any team could do it
We can!!! (How's that for being positive?)
How can Yoohaa! get it wrong
day after day after day!
I e-mailed the company that gives the sports feed to www.sfgate,com because they had the Athletics owner shown as "Steven Schott". I sent a snide remark, and they e-mailed back that they IMMEDIATELY fixed the problem.
Yoohaa! has been wrong for weeks..???
?'Sup???!

I wonder how they got out of the 2nd
since we only sent 10 guys up to the plate.
See, this is why I don't play fantasy baseball
Whoever is f-ing with GameChannel is hilarious
Kendall 2-10; Ellis 4-8; the Mariners somehow a collective 5-45 through 8 innings.
And this keeps happening every night just to the A's game.
Same happen late in game last night. Gamechannel
went bananas.....

my gameday is all messed up now
it shows that harden pitched 16 innings. gave up 6 hits, 4 walks and struckout 14 while throwing 198 pithes.
pretty normal day at the office right?
Is this a save situation?
The go-ahead run is at the plate.
Street looks pretty good
Gotta love a 9 run cushion for him to get some early work in.
He's pissed at himself
for bouncing a couple, though.
Are you sure that's accurate?
I bet it's more like -1 to 0.
by Philip Christy on Apr 4, 2007 9:38 PM PDT up reply actions
Or 53 to -0.9486
well, bob geren has his first big league 'W'
by Randy Bell on Apr 4, 2007 9:39 PM PDT reply actions
OK, from now on, more like this.
Make my Spring a calm one boys.
no kidding
i got enough problems in "real life" ....aside from A's fan anguish issues.
According to Yahoo!'s GameChannel,
Swisher has had almost every at-bat in the game. Good for his fantasy owners.
Where's Tony?
Eric Cesar Chavez!
Nice Story in another game
Rodrigo Lopez, trying to put his 18-loss 2006 season behind him, won his first start for the Rockies thanks in big part to Matt Holliday's four RBIs against the Diamondbacks. • Hero: Lopez pitched seven strong innings in his Rockies debut, allowing just two runs -- one earned -- and striking out five while walking none to get the win.

Geren is a happy man.
And Harden should be even happier.
As should Ellis.
And Crosby.
Hell, they all did pretty damn good tonight.
I hate the 5A Rent-A-Space commercials with Steet.
