What's the deadline?
Did I miss that?
No, you haven't missed it :-)
Please come!

Not that. :)
Did I miss the deadline being posted?
i thought a "deadline" ...
... was what you see when the A's 25-man roster all stands along the third-base chalk for the National Anthem ...
LOL we're getting there! ..
{just a few more injuries and we'll be there} .. An alternative definition of deadline is, the 9-inning game box-score on a day when the Athletics offense has gone into a catatonic state .. simian humor is a good antidote for current misery, though ..

who on earth would want to do this?
: [
I'll totally be there
once I get my sister to change her wedding date... That shouldn't be too hard, right?
Then, I'll get my cousin to change her wedding date so I can attend Cal's home opener against Tennessee.
Whoa,
you know people getting married on the day of a Cal game? And they still invited you???
I missed two weddings last year because of Cal football games. One was planned for Big Game Day -- they clearly didn't ask me first....

Oh how I wish I could go
Have an interview up there next week....if it goes well, I'm in.
I'm coming out for AN 4...
but does anyone have recommendations of a convenient hotel near the stadium? I would appreciate any recommendations from the good people of AN.
Thanks!

I have a great one...
...it's not fancy, does that matter?

Quality Inn
It's about a 15 min. walk to the stadium; so you wouldn't need a car.
Pool, hot tub, wireless internet, AAA rates. I think it's about $60-70 a night? Super cheap, and so convenient!

That sounds pretty good to me. Thanks BBG.

also keep in mind that any hotel near a BART
station is a good bet (depending on the BART station, of course) that just means that you could stay in part of town where you can do stuff other than go to the game (the area around the coli isn't particularly picturesque or pleasant).
hence the scientific abbreviation ...
... E (Bay) coli ...
Can someone...
...come to Sacramento and kidnap me the night before so I can't make it to my friend's wedding?
If so then I can order tickets.
Thanks in advance.

What's with all the weddings?
My cousin's wedding is also that weekend.
And why can't I get a deadline on the sign up?
this place has gone "shit-house!"

beats me
the guy that's getting married isn't a baseball fan. The best man in the wedding is the guy I brought last year (giants fan but he enjoys A's b-ball and love the event last year) and he and I both were pissed that the wedding fell on that day.
Ironically we both blamed the bride and groom (ok, mostly the bride) for the SNAFU and not the good people here at AN even though they had the day "reserved" WAAAAAAY before.
If we weren't in the wedding party I know where I'd be.

Are the seats in LF and when is the deadline?
Jennifer NEEDS to KNOW. Can we bring drums or a triangle?

I NEED to know how long I can procrastinate.
Deadline is tomorrow at 3:00PM
And it will be extended indefinitely.
Anyhow, I'm in, but that shouldn't discourage anyone else from going.
what about kids tix?
now that my 3 year old can't pass for 1 anymore, i gotta pay for his seat. are crazy toddlers welcome to AN day and if so, how much?
BBG- I'm paid up.

The food?
This may be a dumb question... since the post mentions the BBQ Plaza... but is food included, like last year?
(Not to mention the Belt Buckle, if you get there early enough! Last year, Dan Haren bobblehead.)
