Hey Brodie, I have a question for ya
I posted this in your last diary, but it may have been pushed too far down. I was curious if it was possible to get a list of the music used on the show. There were a couple songs that I really liked but couldn't put my finger on who they were by. Could you possibly list some of the songs you used on the show? That would be totally awesome!
The show was great by the way. Some great stuff on it as always! And thanks again for bringing back Swisher Unscripted! 2007 is going to be a great season!!
Thanks again for posting on AN!

We don't have an official list...
...but i can tell you off the top of my head:
2007 Preview Show - Opening Sequence (Jet "Stand Up")
2006 Postseason Tribute (Foo Fighters "Times Like These")
A's vs. Giants Game Tease (Silvertide "You Want It All")
On Deck Show Theme Track (Silvertide "I Aint Coming Home")

Cool site.
Bookmarked.
Excellent! Thanks, Brodie!
Hi Brodie...
Thanks, again, for posting. They showed you on TV getting a foul ball the other day, did you keep it?
Speaking of, with the access you have, do you collect any sort of memorabilia?
A follow up...
Do you know of any players that collect? Maybe that could be a subject for a future pre-game story.
I like that idea!

i have heard of some that do...
but i think it's pretty rare. professional athletes usually like the guys that play different sports.
i'll have to check into that.

actually that foul ball...
unexpectedly deflected off a railing and hit me square in the chest, came in way too fast to move. 8 inches higher, and my next time on camera would have been with a broken nose and black eyes. i didn't keep the ball, just tossed it back into the dugout.
most people in the media aren't collecters of memorabilia, myself included. i believe it's a lack of interest. to me, a great interview on tape is worth saving in the personal collection, but that's about it. besides that, it's extremely off-limits (and considered highly unprofessional) to request autographs as a credentialed member of the media. the access granted is always a privledge, most of us remain very careful of that.

Ouch! They didn't show that part...
I'm glad you weren't too hurt. A suggestion next time, toss the ball to a kid if you can.:)
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
