Pregame Shows Tonight on Action 36 Cable 6

Hello AN,

Thought I'd do the deed of informing you all there is a full hour of pregame coverage before tonight's A's/Giants contest on Action 36 Cable 6 KICU-TV. Here's the agenda:

6:00p - 2007 A's Preview Show
We'll look back to '06, breakdown each position in '07, talk to Mike Piazza, Shannon Stewart, all of the new coaches, plus Rich Harden and Dan Haren talk about their roles.

6:30p - A's On Deck Show -Live from San Francisco
At 6:30 we flip the switch and go live from the ballpark, tell you about some of the A's 'new looks', feature Milton Bradley in-depth, talk about injuries in 2007, a complete feature on Bob Geren, plus everyone's favorite... Swisher Unscripted is back.

Of course we'll have all the video at OnDeckShow.com in the very near future if you miss it tonight, or if you're a NRAF.

Hope Comcast of Monterey County doesn't block it

Usually the programs between 5pm to 11pm on Action 36 in Monterey County are blocked by the order of the FCC and other local stations. I always enjoy watching these shows.

Looks like the Sacramento CW affiliate is only going to pick up 15 of the 44 games this year, so it's much needed.

Did Reno drop the A's entirely?

Unfortunately, KAME seems to like the Giants a bit more, at least until it's apparent that the A's are doing much better later in the season.

Still, I'm glad we get decent coverage. From what I heard it may even be better than Sacramento's, which I find really odd, stupid, and a good reason for changing the "market" system MLB likes.

It may well be.

I tried to find a list of games KAME is covering in 2007, but only found the 2006 list--that was better than KMAX did last year, and KMAX is setting the bar awfully low this year by skipping 29 games.

I'm headed up to Tahoe tonight, though, so by leaving Sacramento, I'm getting to see the game!

Yay Brodie!!

When I saw the A's OnDeck Show pop up on my TiVo, I can't even explain how excited I got. It was the first time I really felt like baseball was back!

I saw the commercial for the pregame show that was like a reality TV show commercial, Brilliant!

Hey Brodie, is there any chance of getting a list of the music you used during the shows tonight? I kinda liked the very first song you used, but I have never heard it before. I would really appreciate a run down on the music! Thanks man, you rock! (in case I haven't said that in the last 20 minutes! ;) ) Great show tonight! Thanks for bringing back Swisher Unscripted!
