FJM and AN need our votes
They have it linked over at www.firejoemorgan.com, but www.bustedcoverage.com has a 64-team tourney for best sports blog.
One round has FJM against a pretty popular site. Athleticsnation is heads up with Basketball Jones, and is in the lead. Here's their description:
"Visitors should read MoneyBall before visiting. You’ll be expected how to find undiscovered talent in the NY Penn League. Your typical team-specific site."

would have helped to have a link to the vote

No.
Having an actual link to the vote page would simply deter us from sharpening our psychic power over the interwebs.

good lord man
I realized I didn't put a link on right after I posted it. My bad ya'll. I just hate being the first to comment on my own post.
Do with me what you will....

Not that I'm really into popularity contests...
but I found AN's ranking to be surprisingly bad. A #15 seed with a couple of SN blogs ahead of it including GSOM (a great site yes, but not better than this) and Sactown Royalty? It also made no mention of one of the best and most entertaining features here: its interviews.
A couple of other good sites that are in the tourney are FJM, MLB Trade Rumors, Minor League Ball, GSOM, and Deadspin.

But apparently MiLB lost already
So it may be hard to vote for them. Here's the link:

I guess we also have to beat Answers 3-5 as well.

I guess a good way to build traffic to your site
is to set up a series of polls like this and spread the word that people need to come and vote.
Does the site that's hosting the polls ever have any content that's worth reading? Just curious.

+1
Never heard of bustedcoverage.com before, didn't see anything worthwhile when I went there, so why would I care about their poll?

I get tired of all of the internet voting stuff.
It just isn't that big of a deal to me.

one day internet voting will decide the fate of the world

Where's option 4:

The "yes" button...
is too close to the "Pat Buchanan" button.

In that case you better hope
that the site that is conducting this vote isn't conducting the vote that will decide the fate of the world: Bots.

Well, maybe I can predict the future, just call
me Nosrtadumbass,
Yep, usually gives us something to do until Billy (0 / 0)
makes his annual December trade, then we get kicked out of the blog voting for cheating, then spring training, then buancasting, then the regular season, like clockwork.by theblackpearl on Wed Oct 31, 2007 at 04:31:40 PM PDT

And in there somewhere we will be on the verge of (0 / 0)
