A Dream Season...

What I am about to say to all of you is a realistic, but highly unlikely unprobable prediction of the 2007 Oakland Athletics season. Yes I underdstand there is a 99.9% chance that this will not happen, but for some laughs, here me out.

The A's bust out of the gates in first place, after a sweep of the Angels in Anaheim. Barry Zito receives a mixture of cheers and boos from the Oakland crowd during the Giants series from May 18th to 20th. The A's hold first place as the defending champs St. Louis Cardinals come to town. Mark Mulder receives a standing ovation, despite the fact that he's injured. Frank Thomas returns to Oakland on July 7 to be booed. The A's send Eric Chavez, Nick Swisher, Rich Harden, and Huston Street across the bay to San Francisco for 2007 All-Star Game in which the AL wins 4-3.

At the end of July, the A's get revenge on the Detroit Tigers with a sweep at home. The A's sweep the Chicago White Sox at home in what would lead to another 20 game winning streak ending in Anaheim in early September. The A's call up Daric Barton as he helps clinch the A's to their second consecutive division title.

The A's finish with 102-60 record. Eric Chavez wins another gold glove after finish with 35 homers and 120 RBI. Nick Swisher makes a run for MVP with 38 homers and 130 RBI. Huston Steet leads the AL with 47 saves with 0.92 ERA. Rich Harden is the runner up to Johan Santana in the Cy Young, going 19-4 with a 2.89 ERA.

Anyone who is interested in listing predicted stats on other players please go ahead. Also please describe your postseason predictions to this season.
