a's picked up jerome williams off waivers from the cubs. i think this is a great move. williams is only 26. it was only a couple of years ago he was heralded as the  next doc gooden, but hes had overall bad luck with injuries and other stuff. I like his ability to get GB outs and i think he can still be an effective big league pitcher. I think Billy Beane thought the same thing. I keep a list of players that i want to see in a's uniforms. D'angelo jiminiez was on that list, and so was jerome williams. i think billy still knows what he's doing
