I fully understand the whole wanting to play DET instead of MIN thing.  Hell, I wouldn't mind if we had to play KC in the ALDS, TB in the ALCS and PIT in the WS if it meant us winning the whole thing.

BUT...

Could you imagine if BOS won the WS without going through NY?  Or if SF won the SB without first beating DAL?  Jordan's Bulls not going through DET?  

So yeah, I want us to win it all, but when I tell my kids about this year, I'd much rather tell them how we beat our two biggest pains in the ass in their own house, in front of their fans, with their best pitcher/hitter on the mount/in the box.  

As for the Dodgers?  I want Street to strike out a gimpy Nomar/Kent/whoever to end a 9th inning threat before we take the series 4-0.  A close second would be to beat the Mets and thus show two NY teams the door in the same post season.

PS: None of the teams scare me if Zito, Haren and Harden are on their game which my gut tells me they will be.  Kind of a farewell/hello to the the BIG THREE.
