I just want you all to know that I am right there with you in my love for our A's. I think this is one of the greatest sites I have ever visited. So much in fact, that I actually signed up to become a member. However, this was a mistake. I think that I have projected my own bad luck onto our beloved A's, by joining, putting on the Jerry jinx.                                              I am from Spokane Washington. It is 300 miles east of Seattle, so everyone assumes we like those teams, as we are forced to watch Seahawks and Mariners in our television market. But we really do not have a team here, and I have been an A's fan all of my life. I LOVE them! I get to see some of the games, but I have to keep track of the team, by reading, radio, or internet. The problem is, these media outlets lack any detail or imagination. I get tired of reading and hearing the same old stuff every day. Not to mention, the overall lack of respect the A's are given by everyone.
I was so happy when I found this place. It was very refreshing to read your thoughts and opinions about the team, I finally felt like I was reading something that reflected my own feelings. Reading your stories made me feel closer to the team, as sometimes it felt as though you brought me right there to Oakland. Thank you.
I probably take my teams to seriously, but that is my favorite hobby. Sure, I have two daughters that take up much of my time but, I'm talking about something fun for me. And when my teams lose, it is no fun. My teams do not win very often. In fact, some of my teams have had documented, monumental meltdowns. This is why I need to stop this, before it becomes one of those meltdowns.
I am sad, the first time I write(to anything not just here), must be the last. If you just go ahead and BAN me from the site, then maybe the A's will win and the Angels will lose, tomorrow. I think that I am responsible for all the bad luck. I first started the registration process with AN right after the win, on Friday. Look what happened, after that. This is just one of the many examples of my bad luck spilling onto our team. I was going to write this before the game, and did not. It is my duty, as a true A's fan, to do it now. Just ban me and maybe we'll win and I will not have to be depressed anymore. I hope I can still read your wonderful stories!

I have never been to a baseball game. I hope some day, I will be able to go to an A's game. I just hope I don't jinx them.
