Postseason Schedule
I apologize if this has been posted already but I'm trying to figure out the likely postseason schedule for the A's before tickets go on sale on Monday. I live in Chico and can't get to games easily.
From what I can tell it looks like (if the A's play the Tigers) the A's will be playing games 3 and 4 at home on 10/6 and 10/7. Is this correct?

Who knows
But in all likelyhood, since the Tigers and Twins play the the Royals and Orioles for 7 games a piece, we won't overtake them.
I'll be at Kauffman cheering...
provide some good luck THIS time

Division Series schedule for Reg
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/schedule/ps_06.jsp
There are too many games yet to be played to come to any definite conclusions but this scenario seems likely:
- The Yankees will finish with the best record in the AL. They will play in ALDS B against the wild card team. The Yankees will host Games 1, 2 and 5.
- The A's will play the winner of the AL Central in ALDS A. If the A's have a better record than the AL Central winner, Games 1, 2 and 5 will be played at the Coliseum. However, right now it seems a little more likely that the AL Central winner will have a better record, so Games 3 and 4 would be at the Coliseum.
- Based on prior years, the networks almost always choose to put the Yankees game on in East Coast prime time. It's entirely possible that ALL of the ALDS A games will be played in the daytime. Yep, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday games all starting at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Pacific (for the games at the AL Central park) or 1 p.m. Pacific (for the games at Oakland).

Thank you, Cynthia
Thanks Cynthia
As it stands, they're
a) forcing East Coast fans to stay up later than usual
b) depriving West Coast fans of watching the regional team on prime time
c) imposing the Yankee game on the West Coast audience.
Yankees = Ratings in Prime Time....
