Playoff Strips Mailed Today!

I just got off the phone with the A's ticket office.  I wanted to have my playoff strips mailed to my work address, the better to casually flash them to the Giants fans in the office.  (I'll leave it to you witch doctors to offer penance to the Woofing Gods.)  But when I called, the Ticket Services guy told me they started mailing out the strips today.  I bought mine on that first Monday when they went on sale, even before the invoice arrived.  He checked and told me that our strips were in the group that was mailed today!  They should arrive on Monday.

Check in with your seat location when yours arrive.

Now that the strips are going out, can there be any rationale for not putting the magic number PROMINENTLY on the front page?  Heck, look at the voting.  YA GOTTA GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THE WANT!  Power to the People.  Free Huey!

This was such a rah rah diary...
I got caught up in the rah rah for a moment. Back to my regularly scheduled pessimism.

I got hooked up

Tickets for the Public
Does anyone know when they might be have playoff strips available for the common folk?

I'm not sure
playoff strips are available for non season ticket holders, but individual playoff tickets go on sale on Monday September 25th at 9AM, or so I was told by the ticket sales...

The A's website sez
they haven't set a date yet. My guess would be this weekend/early next week.

They probably want to wait until after the first LAA series to be sure the A's still have a good chance, so they don't have to process a million refunds.

Scratch that
I can't read a calendar. What I meant was the weekend of Sept. 23-24, or shortly thereafter.

I just received my notification
that mine are in the Fed Ex System.

Actually they've been sitting in Oakland since yesterday, but since the A's sent them 2-day, they won't be delivered until Tuesday...boo!!

Jealous
If I cook steaks at my house for each game, do those count as playoff strips?

You could use this Sunday's giveaway...
...for playoff strip poker.

Only if....
they're well done.  And that would be a horrible waste of a strip.

Section 106 row 12
I was nervous to buy my post-season tickets.  I bought them last year and we did not make it.  I was afraid to jinx the team (is that silly or what!!!).  My finger nails will be chewed down to my elbows by seasons end.

ARGHHH
They're at the local FedEx facility in Soquel, awaiting delivery.  But since they were sent 2 day the scheduled delivery date isn't until Tuesday.....
