Here's an invitation to join other baseball fans at the local Lefty O'Doul chapter of SABR.
These meetings offer an opportunity to learn more about baseball, local baseball history, and just talk ball with other fans.

Join members of the local Society of American Reseach chapter for a lively discussion of the Arts of Baseball as well as a Giants/Phillies game. Sunday, July 16.

Guest speakers include:
Baseball Prospectus writer Tom Gorman on the art of statistical analysis.
Marty Lurie, the host of Right off the Bat and Memories of the Game, on the art of the baseball interview.
George Krevsky, Krevsky's Gallery, on baseball art and the art of collecting.
Jules Tygiel, baseball historian.
We have also invited a very special former announcer, and are hoping that he will be in town and can join us.

Tickets are $30 including the meeting and the game.
