Hello my lovelies... Here are, as promised, part one of the AN Day II photos. It was a great day, so much fun to hang out with a bunch of A's fans and also stuff my mouth at the same time! I only wish they wouldn't take the food away so early. And I finally got to see Billy Beane in the flesh too. I'm sure I could gush on and on for days but I'm sure no one cares because you just want to see photos of yourself ;) (Just kidding... I hope no one is actually reading this.)

Sorry the quality is so low, I no longer have Comcast so I have to use a free image host; I saved the pictures in the lowest quaility possible so I hopefully don't blow the bandwidth!

Look closer at some of the photos and you'll see it hanging around our necks!

Too small to read them, I know. But we had them! baseballgirl was well prepared!

The font was a little "unfriendly"...

I had to keep staring at people in order to try reading their nametags, and there were several that I couldn't read fast enough as the wearers walked past. But I'm really glad we had them. Maybe a plainer font next year?

Thanks for id'ing that photo! You got it 99% right - except they're my hubby's parents! It was great to share a table with you and Fred and Kaiser99. It was such a fun day, awesome game. I still haven't gotten over my shock when Billy walked into the room, and then the walk-off HR to win the game. I'm still flying.

I looked up your postings on AN out of curiousity. Whatever happened with those awesome drawings you did of Barry and the ball flying out of the drum? I somehow missed that entire conversation last summer. Were t-shirts made? As a group or on our own? I wish I had known about this when I met you! You are an amazingly talented artist.

It was a pleasure sharing a table with all of you!

I especially enjoyed the stories your in-laws were telling me - I've always loved hearing A's-related stories by those more experienced than me. I hope you get Kotsay to authenticate that helmet some day (if you didn't already!)

And amylam, now I see why people linked you to the drawings - they ARE amazing. Makes you stand out more even if you don't post much.
