A's old cap design inquiry

Hey gang, need some help here.

A friend of mine is looking for a particular A's cap that I personally have no recollection of - probably due to my lack of following during the period he says the cap is from.

Basically, it's a all-green cap, with the "A's" lettering white. No gold or anything on the design - just the "modern day" green all around, and the letters are white.

He swears it's sometime during the 90's when they wore this (alternate?), so I'm hoping someone else would know when exactly they wore it, and if possible, where to find it.

Thanks in advance!

All the new school
New Era hats with the designs suck.  Such bad looks.  But all the different "Franchise" lids that lids.com is phenomenal

It was their road cap for a couple years.
I believe it was in 93 and 94...I have one here..I actually liked it more than the gold A's.

Also wore green and white.  First year they were in Oakland.  Here's the link:

Nice tidbit about the 1969 cap...

The Swingin' A's of the Swingin' 70's, gotta love 'em!

batting helmet 1971
Do you remember the gold helmet with the green visor? That was a wild design. We won 101 games with that, maybe we should try that again.

93 road hat
It was the road hat that they wore in 93 only.  I have two of them and they are among my favorite of me A's hats.

They pop up on ebay from time to time.

I have that hat!
But it is from when I was 10 or 11...and it's size 6 7/8.

The funniest thing about it is that it's signed by Scott Spiezio from his A's days...

What Is It WIth Runners Owning ...
...the Green and White A's caps? Are you saying the A's stole more bases back in '93?

I am wearing it right now though
It feels pretty nice on the head.

Honestly I have a huge collection of A's hats and maybe I will post a diary photo of it some day.  This particular hat might be my favorite.  I got my two off of ebay (for $18 including shipping total!) as they pop up there often.

I would love to get the 1969 hat that has been mentioned in this diary also.  I don't have one of those.

Players
Does anyone see Ellis and Byrnes as the models in these cartoon pics?  Weird... but I thought I would see if anyone else sees the same thing.

Twins Enterprises makes my favorite A's caps so much that I quit wearing the bulky, fitted, too tall on my head official ones.

The only place for vintage caps
is the Cooperstown Ballcap Company.  They make literally thousands of styles of caps, from every ML team ever to virtually any minor league team you can name.  Caps are made out of high-quality flanel with horsehide cap liners.

They have a 1968 A's cap, which might be what your friend is looking for.  I have an Oaks cap and a Seals cap that I love from these folks.

I have an Oaks cap ballcap.com
It's the most comfortable ballcap I have ever owned.  I think it's the soft horsehide sweatband.  They just don't make hats like they used

thanks for the link nico!
I foresee a purchase in the near future!

Some of the philly and KC caps are tempting also.

Thanks for all the info!
I knew I could count on AN to get the answer.

It's the 93 road cap. So now we at least know what year to look for.

Thanks again.
