Injuries? What injuries?
Thomas: expects to be back on Friday; has returned to Oakland after spending a few days at home in Vegas. Took BP yesterday. (source)
Duchscherer: returned and owned.
Witasick: suffering from tendinitis in his recently sprained left ankle; undergoing shockwave treatment. Witasick on shockwave treatments: "That's gotta be the equivalent of giving birth out of your ankle." (same source)
Bradley: won't swing a bat until next week (source)
Kennedy: long toss on flat ground yesterday, will see how he feels today
Ellis: some hitting work and BP; thumb has improved according to x-rays; not far from rehab? (source)

Supposedly, the jerseys from yesterday were autographed and are to be auctioned off, but I can't find confirmation on it. Anyone care to get Benitez's?

I bow down to Aaron Harang.
Cinci is one HELL of a place for ex-A's, apparently. I liked that guy a lot when he was in Oakland, still have warm memories of him against Seattle. Great to see him totally bitching over NL teams.

I like how
"giving birth" is translated to "saggin' bizzay".

This has already been posted
but given the Stomper versus Lou Seal yesterday, it can't be posted often enough -- because our mascot is a total badass. Stomper goes wild.

No, different game.
Strawberry was at the "Hard-Timers" game.
"The first night, we were right there," Bradley said. "All we needed was a couple of touchdowns, and we would have had them."

..if you click the Baseball Mogul ad on the left hand side of the screen, and then click "download demo", you'll find they're offering the 2006 version of the game for FREE, for the month of June only.

Thanks
for the headsup. It looks like an interesting game.

hah,
I have the 2006 game. Addicted. Played like 10 seasons. Never won a division title, maybe since I keep getting new players, over and over and over again.

i made some funny trades
I finished 77-85 the first year. Then i traded for Adam Dunn, signed Soriano and Gregg Zaun, re-signed Frank and Barry, signed Oliver Perez.

My lineup:

Kotsay
Soriano
Chavez
Thomas
Dunn
Crosby
Swisher
Johnson
Zaun

My second year i finished with a 100-62 record. Then before i got to the playoffs, my computer became retarded... i didn't have it saved, now i'm too lazy to go and play all over again.

My rotation is funny....
Chuck Tiffany. Adam Wainwright. Kyle Davies. Brad Knox. Eric Abreu.

My lineup only has 5 guys who weren't made up by the game at this point... it is 2010, though.

I love this game.
I'm in 2015 and have only made the playoffs twice. In 2006 I went to WS and lost. In 2011 I lost in the first round.
2006 99-63 AL Champion
2007 89-73 3rd
2008 74-88 4th
2009 80-82 2nd
2010 91-71 2nd
2011 93-69 AL Wild Card
2012 89-73 2nd
2013 92-70 3rd
2014 79-83 3rd
The AL West is very competitive. Many times I would have won the division if the A's were in the East or Central.

The A's still on the team are:
Eric Chavez-moved to DH, has 459 HR.
Daric Barton- great player. bats around .290 with a .400 OBP and 20 HR.
Kurt Suzuki-backup catcher
Harden-still staff Ace, 150 wins, nearly 2000 K's and a career ERA of 3.35.
Craig Italiano- 4th year, coming of a season with a 2.20 ERA
Joe Kennedy- move to the rotation in 2007, became a very good sarter. In decline and been moved back to the bullpen. Hefty ontract is a burden.

Jimenez
I noticed that D'Angelo Jimenez played for Sacromento last night, but I didn't see an announcement of a FA signing.  Did we just sign him or was it last winter and he's finally healthy?
Signatures? We don't need no stinking signatures.
