Boston ANers Help!
I know we have some ANers in Boston and I was looking for a little help.
I have a couple airline tickets and I would like to take my son to a game out of state. We have been to all the stadiums in California (and I have been to Chase myself) but we have never been to any parks outside the state.
I have always heard that the ballparks that must be seen are Wrigley and Fenway. And since we are playing the NL West this year for Interleague, looks like Fenway.
Problem is...each A's game next month is sold out...and nothing is available via Replay.
Here is where my AN brothers come in. While it would be great if someone had extra tickets to sell, I realize that is wishful thinking. I am hoping, though, that you can give some advice as to reputable ticket brokers. I have looked on Craigslist in Boston. Basically, I am looking for a known entity that will not take my money and run. In addition, I am hoping to not get too reamed with the cost. The tickets on Craigslist were pretty pricey.

Good luck. And go A's. BTW- Boston fans are serious *ssholes in the park. I always wear my green and gold, hat and jersey usually, and have been shoved, cornered, and had a beer thrown on me. That said, most games go without incedent, but just be prepared. Its more an outfield thing. THere are always A's fans in the stands though to lend a supportive towel if need be.

Have you checked Stubhub?
I recommend the Fenway tour if you've got time to kill before the game. It's pretty cool and you'll be surprised at how overrated the Green Monster seats are.
I hope you and your son have a great time.

Stubhub is quick and easy ...
If you want an actual seat, you'll likely pay at least $75-80.
Definitely take the ballpark tour - it was almost a cooler experience than actually going to the game.

The game was a snoozer the red sox blew out the orioles. Listening to all the goons chant Nomaaaaaah! was worth the price of admission.

eh ...
The real ticket prices are not much more expensive than here in Oakland -- but pretty much the only way to get them is to be a season ticket holder.
It makes it inconvenient for baseball tourists but, honestly, I'm okay with that.
