just because you don't believe in it, doesn't mean that the rest of us don't. Baseball is a game of superstitions, for both the players and the fans. Fans are especially particular about certain "rules", such as what can or cannot be mentioned during the time it may be occuring...

It takes more than just great pitching to get
a no-hitter.  An awful lot of luck is needed.  Harden is pitching as well as anyone could ask.  Hits aren't important.  Wins are.

that our pitchers feed off of each other very well....you don't think Zito went out yesterday thinking about Blanton's two-hitter the night before? And Harden probably warmed up today knowing about the two gems that preceeded him. They feed off each other. Now we have to get Loaiza in there too...

Question about
"defensive indifferences."

Why do teams (almost) always concede bases on defensive indifferences?  I know that it doesn't matter most of the times because it happens in blowout games... but they can be very costly in games like these when the bullpen has a hard time holding on to the lead.

The forceout when the runs aren't to at least tie. Ichiro got a stolen base because he was the potential tying run. The danger of throwing the ball to Kotsay seemed to outweigh the value of the forceout.
