Swisher article from "Buzz" Magazine

I got this magazine from Comcast in the mail and Nick Swisher is on the cover... There's also a short article/Comcast commercial by Mychael Urban.

I think they might give these away at Comcast offices, so if you want one you can try picking one up there.

Maybe it's because
it's 3:30 in the morning and I'm totally loopy, but that was funny in a cheesy kind of way.
I'll never have to choose between watching The Sopranos and Joe Blanton highlights on SportsCenter again.

LOL.

And I knew Swisher lived with Blanton and his wife, but I didn't realize his girlfriend and dog did, too.

Thanks for posting that, gdubb.

HA!
Sportcenter doesn't play Joe Blanton highlights because he doesn't play for the Yankees or Red Sox!!

in the last interview with Buan
Swish said he lived in a "bachelor pad" with Harden, Street and another player (forget which); the place sports a pool and a jacuzzi.

So it doesn't look like he's bunking at the Blantons' anymore

Crosby or Melhuse maybe?
Harden, Street, Crosby, and Melhuse lived together last season.

It's probably Adam Melhuse
Crosby was on KNBR with Rick and Rod (I think it's still up on KNBR's website) and he said he was living in a hotel in San Francisco because he hasn't gotten his house yet. I'm assuming that means he isn't living in the "bachelor pad" anymore. I wonder what happened...

by alamedagirl on Apr 8, 2006 11:12 AM PDT up reply actions

Not Melhuse
I thought he said it was Joe, actually, but I could be wrong. And Buan made a big deal (this was after Tuesday's game) about how now Swish is the oldest one in the house -- so the fourth guy definitely wouldn't be Melhuse, who just turned 34.

So it's Swish, Harden, Street and maybe Blanton.  Which makes me think that maybe Crosby was kicked out for being too old.  ;)

I'm pretty sure it is Joe.

WOW!
I knew Swish and his girl broke up, but I didn't realize the Blantons seperated! How sad!

And yes, it was Blanton that he said was the 4th roomie. I cracked up when he said they made Rich get up early to meet the cable guy. Buan gave him a hard time for making the starting pitcher get up early!

Crosby was probably kicked out
to prevent any injuries to the other guys. Harden wouldn't want to take any chances this season.

No kidding
next week in US Weekly, "Which A's player is Pregnant?", "Kendall just hasn't been the same since his nasty breakup with Melhuse.", "Manager has nervous breakdown as fans cry 'Fire Macha NOW!'" "Does Marco Scutaro have an eating disorder? Joe Blanton chimes in."

Extra Innings
I'm on the east coast and I was curious if anyone knew if Extra Innings is archived on any site?  Would love to download and listen.

Extra Innings, the show Buan does?
The Robert Buan show is usually on after the games on MLB Audio. They have the archived games. You have to pay 14.95 per season for Audio, though. As for downloading them for free, doubtful.
