Bradley Missed Third - Just for Blanton
Good move by Bradley to support the status quo with his new team.
gawd the suspense
So, what exactly happened here?
[Gameday can't process this much information very quickly.]
how do you miss third?
But that whole inning, they really let Mateo get away with it.
Sure hope Blanton stays sharp. Wouldn't want these missed opportunities to come back and bite the team

by Athletics fan and runner on Apr 7, 2006 8:46 PM PDT reply actions
I hope this does not send him
Here's what I hope will happen...
Blanton stays sharp, A's hold on to win.
Teammates pick on Bradley about the incident for a little bit after the game, then he smiles and shrugs it off.
He's happy. We're happy. Life goes on.

He has great at bats. The 11 pitch at bat earlier tonight was huge.
by Athletics fan and runner on Apr 7, 2006 8:51 PM PDT up reply actions
no, Kent got all over him
And from what we know about Kent I'm sure that wasn't the first time he and Bradley got on each other's nerve
Here's the good news on this front...

thank you for clarifying this
I am. JK is a prick. He belongs on the Dodgers.
by kent1 on Apr 7, 2006 8:57 PM PDT up reply actions
Observations
- Chavvy looks very tentative chasing flyballs in foul territory, both in Safeco and at home. He's been known to make spectacular catches in foul territory, so I don't know where the caution is coming from.
- The A's better not lose, because Bradley will be the goat. If the media makes Bradley the goat, we could see some anger management issues.
Agree with both points...
