Opening Day w/o Bill King

Yesterday was opening day, and there was no Bill King to tell me so. So, I've been trying to find a "Holy Toledo" MP3, or the video tribute to Bill shown last night at the Coloseum, but to no avail. Any idea where I can get one or both of these?

I knew I missed him, but it wasn't until I was watching the game on ESPN, and didn't hear his voice over my computer that it really hit me.

Thanks,

Polytician

also missing: ROY STEELE
It is going to be a hard adjustment, for sure.  We'll be missing Bill forever.

But not having Roy Steele as PA announcer makes it even worse.  Does anyone know what's up with the Voice of God?

Here's an sfgate article from a few days ago:

He has a "throat ailment" and will miss at least all of April.

...which isn't easy, because some people park pretty close together...

"throat ailment"...
...also caused him to miss most of September last year. I really hope the "ailment" doesn't start with the letter "C"...  :\

Notice the sun?
Did anyone else notice how the sun shone through right in the middle of the Bill King video tribute? I thought that was a nice touch for mother nature to let Bill have a nice view of things.

It was strange, though, that the sunlight was shining on Mt. Davis, which I'm sure Bill hated as much as the rest of us. Not sure what that meant, but I'm inclined to believe it means we're winning the World Series because...ummm...well, because...why not?

Yes
I was on the second deck looking straight at it. Thank you Bill

Tribute....
Can anybody describe the tribute to King last night? ESPN showed about 5 seconds of clips... would love to hear a description of what happened.

I videotaped 90% of the tribute....
and once I get back to Kansas I'll try to edit other stuff from the tape and put it on a website for people to see it.
