Mac Suzuki to Tijuana

Hey everyone--

I was checking out the Rivercats website the other day when I noticed that one of the pitchers I was following through Spring Training was missing-- Mac Suzuki. I checked around and there seemed to be no news of his release, trade, etc.

I thought this was a little strange, so I did a little investigating, and found this.

What's interesting to me is why would Mac leave the A's AAA Affiliate, after a seemingly good Spring Training Session, to head to Mexico?

Well, whatever. He was never that good anyways.

Hope you are all well-- Go A's!

According to the Chronicle,
he was released at the beginning of April by the A's.
"This must be heaven," he says.
"No. It's Oakland."

he was released:
Which is no surprise, given the fact that John Baker threw the ball harder from his knees than Mac did from the mound!!!
While taint is everywhere and baseball is certainly no different, it's important that it be treated with open attention-Devo

Even better...
I'm going to the Tijuana Potros game tomorrow.  Remember Randall Simon...he plays for them too.  Bill Pulsipher played there last year.  I've never had as much fun at a ballgame as I have in good 'ol TJ.  The cheerleaders on the dugouts wearing the patent leather knee high boots really ets it apart.  If Mac does anything or is in fact still on the team, I'll report back.

Mac got the save
He actually looked really good.  1-2-3 inning and his sinker was working really well.  Randall Simon hit a huge homer.  That guy is having a ton of fun down there.
