WBC Game 2 Open Thread, I guess

So the WBC is on, as of earlier tonight, and, unfortunately, we have to deal with crappy ESPN commentators.

Star-divide

Oh God, Darnell Coles is talking. I don't think that that guy has anything good to contribute. I mean, really, he just said that the reason the Chinese pitchers don't throw hard is because they are just now learning the game of baseball.

Nice one, Darnell.

I guess there arn't many ANers watching.
The WBC is a nice compliment to my late night Party Poker session.

Japan is going to tear China a new one, IMO.

they look a lot bigger than the chinese players.  the conditioning/nutrition probably isn't as developed yet in china.

i kind of hope china wins at least one game.  it woudl be nice if baseball started to catch on there...

wow
I've been up all night watching the WBC, writing and drinking coffee. It didn't even occur to me that there would be an open thread for the WBC on AN. I love it.

So, anyone think China is about to get "10-runned" here in the seventh? I haven't heard that since my days of rec league ball in 5th grade...
