Have we forgotten our Motto?

Let me remind everyone what this website's motto is... "In Billy We Trust".  If he thinks Bonds is the guy who can get us over the hump, then by God i will root for this steroid freak.  I will not dump the ONLY BASEBALL TEAM I HAVE EVER ROOTED FOR JUST BECAUSE OF ONE PLAYER.  I hate Bonds as much as the next person, but if he does get signed, i am now a Bonds rooter.  Not a supporter, mind you, but i will root for him to get on base and drive in runs.

Billy wants to win a World Series, and if you are like me, then you all do too.  If he feels this is the best option, then let's go for it!!  Do you think Yankee fans stopped rooting for them when they signed Damon?  I highly doubt it.  Sure it was odd at first, but actions speak louder than words.

I am loyal to my TEAM, first and foremost, regardless of the player.

One last thing, not relating to Bonds.  Since Wolffe has said that "of Fremont" is going to be in the name when the move happens, and they decide to keep Oakland in it also, and the name turns out to be "Oakland Athletics of Fremont", would our nickname be the "O.A.F.s"?  Just something to think about.

it's only been made 1 fewer time ...
... than the number of Bonds diaries, though.
People wanted Washington because he would do a better job of establishing the run. -- andeux @('.')@

I guess I should have given each and every on its due consideration ...

It's a
neck-in-neck three-way race between the number of Bonds diaries, the number of posters who make the exact same comment in each Bonds diary, and the number of complaints about all the Bonds diaries.

'Twill be an exciting finish!

In Billy we trust was the motto?
Didn't know that--guess someone forgot to tell me. I won't be joining the Billy Beane Cult anytime soon--sorry. As far as Bonds, if they want to sign the guy to get more fans out there and the guy can still hit then fine. With Bonds and his greedy agent-- don't know if A's can afford it. We will have to wait and see.

My motto, personally, is
"Every time BB makes chairs cry, take a drink."
"This must be heaven," he says.
"No. It's Oakland."

Trust in Billy Beane...
But there have been lots of players signed to minor league contracts among the free agents and Billy has yet to appear and to make any move this offseason.  Understand personal problems, but he has a number one to assist [like on Star Trek].

He did say that 2006 would be the A's year and after that the Angels would be tough to beat for a couple years.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ???
