fewer managerial candidates for A's

Met's Bench Coach Manny Acta, who was scheduled to be interviewed by the A's for the manager's job, has removed himself from consideration:

Meanwhile, Don Wakamatsu has indicated his desire to remain with the Rangers, even though he was passed over in favor of Ron Washington for the Rangers' managerial position, and even though Art Howe has been hired for the bench coach spot:

so unless someone else is identified it appears that the A's have already interviewed everyone who interests them for the manger's position. The remaining possibilities are:
Geren
Quirk
Hershiser
Hillman

update: Ken Rosenthal reports that Manny Acta will be named to be the Washington Nationals' new manager. So that's probably why he withdrew from the A's search. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6158520
