That should quiet the AN'ers
who thought Zito should have pitched the 9th, as he said he was done, couldn't go anymore.

Of course
he also said that in Game 161 of 2004.

wow, that was quite an insight
I have enjoyed Haren's ramblings, but this entry by Zito about today's game was special.

Zito may be the most literate
thoughtful, intelligent professional athelete ever.  he is clearly in arthur ashe territory.  its time the sports journalism world really delves into him instead of just sensationalize his wackiness.  especially enjoyed emporer nobody's guitar analogy to try and get his attention.

So basically what you're saying
is that he has absolutely no shot of landing that SportsCenter anchor job after he retires?

he should just stay
he wouldn't have become barry in the culture of most  organizations and the ny teams would ruin that.
