Need some help with something

For my Journalism class at my high school ( Albany High) I am writing an article about the tragedy that Killed Cory Lidle and his Co-pilot. I need  some quotes from A's fans who have fond memories of Cory Lidle. Anything about him or his career as an athletic.

Please say Your full name with the quote.

Thank you  so much!

Since this is the off-season I figure people have a hissy fit about posting a diary about this.

Yes I do spell check for school.

There was a pic in the Chron of Lidle
standing on the mound, and the scoreboard on the facade of the second deck was behind him and had all zeros running across it. (This was when they had the old school boards that showed the score for each inning).

Looks like the game was at CLE, but here's the pic

And if you have any aviation questions
post them. I know theres a few pilots on the board (including myself) that are happy to answer them. Also try http://www.aopa.org.

Here's the NTSB's prelim report (final report usually takes a year or so to come out): http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=20061018X01530&key=1

First of all, Robb, I want
you to know that as far as I'm concerned--and I imagine I speak for 99% of AN--this is a totally appropriate diary. It's unusual, and it uses access to the AN community in a really cool way. So I think it's great.

My thoughts on Lidle are as follows...

Prior to the plane crash, I thought of Cory Lidle in two ways: As a major league pitcher and as "the guy who had the scoreless innings streak". Now I think of Lidle in two totally different ways: As a husband and as a father. 34 is just too young.

I like Cindi. A. She never pretends to know more than she does. B. She has unbridled enthusiasm for her "Hotties," and isn't afraid to show it. -IM4Oakgal
