A's Playoff Schedule

Why on earth is Friday's A's game against Minnesota at 4PM Eastern...or 1 oclock here!! There are only two games that day. The A's and Twins and New York Detroit. NY Detroit is scheduled for 5PM Pacific. Why can't we play after?

I have four tickets, and I was planning on picking them up from will call after my CPA exam Friday morning at 10. Now I'll be lucky to make it to the game. Is there any other way to get tickets from Will Call besides between 10 and 4 Monday through Friday when most of the world works?

There will still be a market....
It's the playoffs....and capacity is a LOT less than previous years.....you will be fine selling them.

Yeah for the record
Im going to sell it at face value. Why because I cant think of a hundred shitty excuses why I should make money off of fellow AN-ers.  If youve been following a particular diary, youll know what I mean.

I have no problem whatever you choose to seel your ticket for.....Hell, you drove from Riverside to Manhattan to watch a game with us....you are all good in my book no matter what.

no, the lower peninsula of Michigan
is in the Eastern time zone, while Minnesota is in the Central time zone

Ah. gotcha.....
So would have been the same time for us in the PST, but 1pm local.  Thanks

for the A's it will be noon
for start of the game. (Central Time). if they had started in Detroit it would be 1 pm (Eastern Time).

Noon is still pretty early for a game.

But our internal clocks will still be at 10am
Considering that between the last home stand and road trip, our guys have been at Pacific time for two and a half weeks.  And with the rally tonight, the team won't actually get into Minnesota until 12/1 Pacific time?  By the time the team gets to the hotel, they're asleep at 2 Pacific time, at best?

This has all the bad signs that point towards a bad showing tomorrow.  I seem to recall we had a problem earlier this year with the first day of any road trip.  Or was it the second?

I think they went to Minnesota
yesterday after the game. The change won't be as bad as when they have to fly to the east coast after a game in the west, and then play the very next day.
