ALCS Dates

Looking at the important dates link on mlb.com important dates it shows the LCS beginning on Oct. 10th.  From this date can we predict the Oakland home dates (assuming we make it that far) as being Friday October 13th, Saturday October 14th, and Sunday October 15th?  I'm trying to figure out the dates so I know if I should buy tickets tomorrow morning.  I'll be out of town that weekend so if I'm correct on the dates it looks like I wont be going.  Can anyone confirm these dates for me?  Thanks in advance.

Presuming the Yanks beat the Tigers.
and while that seems a better bet than, say, Detroit vs. Kansas City (lol), the way things are going recently i wouldn;t bet the farm. a's could end up playing Detroit during the week out here.

Home Field
So we'd have home field against Detroit if they knock off the Yankees and we beat the Twins?  I thought they'd have home field because they have the better regular season record.  Looks like I might have to buy tickets and hope for games 1/2 in Oakland.

If I were you...
...I would buy tickets anyway, just to get them -- because if it turns out that the games are played on dates you can't attend, you will have no problem selling them.

And if you sell them for face value (plus whatever service fees you had to pay for them), you'll make someone's day...  ;)
