I'm not sure it will work
The time to keep the A's in Oakland was a year ago. Would Oakland have had to give up more then Fremont has to keep the A's in Oakland? Yes, but that's the nature of the beast. The Oakland polititions decided they had better things to attend to then spend time and resources buying up land/relocating buisnesses/and changing the title rights of the land for Lew Wolff so Wolff went to Fremont who decided they didn't have anything better to do. It may be sad to some people, but I assume they majority of people on this site who live in Oakland voted those people into power. Democracy can be ironic sometimes...

Its way too late
Besides, the Oakland City Council and the Coliseum Board hate the A's, and want to get them out of the city it seems. I don't know, maybe its because they don't like the idea of an Oakland team winning something (content with the Raiders and Warriors fighting for last in their respective sports, while screwing over the JPA).

Gone
This was why he bought the team, he thought he could make a killing in the real estate market as well as gather a bunch of new fans from Silicon Valley.
He is wrong, and what he is going to find is that the A's true base is everywhere east of Oakland-I'm talking Tracy, Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento and even Reno.

He's moving the ballpark 20 minutes away,
I know I'll still be there for the team.
